Summary

The Construction Project Supervisor is responsible for ensuring effective and quality team performance and delivering a service that meets or exceeds customer expectations. They may have a varied scope in terms of team size or complexity of clients/vendors/project and has solid working knowledge and experience. They understand, monitor and track project deliverables. They are a key interface to the client in the event of dispute or escalation and competent on the use of SMS Assist technology platforms. Operates under minimal supervision. May provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee assigned maintenance, turn and renovation business in their scope and vendor performance by monitoring standard KPIs, metrics and having detailed knowledge of regional operations for corporate reporting
  • Leverage a thorough understanding of client regional density and KPI data to manage the team, ensuring proper pricing and performance
  • Recommend subject matter experts and operations team members quickly and cost effectively to resolve client issues
  • Prevent and/or resolve escalated vendor and client issues with proactive relationship management to ensure exceptional customer experiences
  • Ensure quality control of vendor relationships and processes; investigate complaints and guarantee highest levels of customer service
  • Understand client objectives, challenges and needs through clear communication with Project Managers and Specialists
  • Meet with operations team on a regular basis to ensure vendor management program is on track toward achieving customer goals
  • Partner with the internal team members to onboard new vendors and monitor vendor scoring
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
  • Foster a positive team environment
  • Ensure confidentiality of internal and external data
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 or more years business experience required, including 4 or more years of Project Management
  • Knowledge of maintenance/construction terms and pricing required
  • Other Relevant Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree preferred
  • Vendor management experience preferred
