**JOB TITLE: Identity and Access Analyst, Associate**
**LOCATION: Geisinger Office Building II N**

**JOB SUMMARY** :
Responsible for centralized Provisioning/Deprovisioning accounts and recertifications in multiple systems while adhering to guidelines and policies of Geisinger. Establishes effective security procedures and monitors the execution of those procedures in all systems environments. Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal with Geisinger staff, vendors, and clients. Responsible for providing support to other IT areas as needed. Performs assigned tasks to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, corporate policy and selected internal procedures are met. Monitors and compiles information into security and audit status reports. Contributes to documenting security access procedures and training and awareness activities. Seeks to further develop an understanding of relevant regulations and internal procedures. Provides support related to project completion including analysis, testing, documentation, problem resolution and implementation of devices and support applications. Provides input into project plans.
Performs duties to support the defined service levels, goals and objectives of the Geisinger Health System (GHS)
in its efforts to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
Receives general supervision from the Director, Program Director, Team Lead or Lead.
**SPECIFIC POSITION DUTIES:**
Develops understanding of industry trends, legislation and technology in terms of data security and access as it relates to the security controls in the health care industry i.e. HIPAA.
Performs assigned tasks to measure and monitor compliance activities as it pertains to security access management. Brings gaps in compliance as it pertains to security access management to the attention of management.
Performs tasks in support of training/awareness security access compliance programs and activities.
**COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:**
Demonstrates an aptitude for following rules and procedures and being detailed oriented.
Demonstrates technical/analytical abilities required.
Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and a willingness to report on non-compliant activity.
Demonstrates intermediate PC and MS Office skills.
Demonstrates sound oral and written communication skills required.
Demonstrates the ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information in a diplomatic and tactful way.
SQL and Project Management understanding preferred.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**
Associate's degree or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; or technical diploma / technical certification in a field related to the position required.
In lieu of degree or certification, minimum of three years of full-time experience in a related information technology/application/user support role required.
ITIL foundations completion preferred.
