This position will be responsible for the day to day support of Open Payments regulatory transparency reporting to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), U.S. state transparency regulation and general support of Dentsply Sirona businesses in global transparency regulation compliance. Conduct daily audits of the U.S. travel and related expenses for regulatory compliance to ensure that all eligible spend is recorded and reportable for the fiscal year. Primary Administrator of the global aggregate reporting system, MediSpend (MS). Ensure the regular transfers of data from all source systems to MediSpend. Supports Open Payments regulatory reporting using the MediSpend system to compile, analyze, and generate reporting to ensure timely and accurate reporting to specified regulatory agencies. Develop guidance and training to the businesses on the reporting process. Keeps apprised of legal and regulatory changes and industry best practices regarding transparency regulation and implements continuous enhancements to the company s transparency guidance accordingly. This position also has responsibilities related to global compliance training modules, including translations, implementation of new modules, and partnering with LMS admin to ensure appropriate roll out.
Main point of contact for all tactical responsibilities related to U.S. Transparency Regulation; facilitate and support global transparency owners for all non U.S. transparency regulation
Work with the Marketing Compliance Officer and legal counsel to understand current transparency regulation that is applicable to the businesses
Act as a subject matter expert n U.S. aggregate spend reporting, providing guidance to the businesses
Develp, initiate, maintain, and revise U.S. Transparency policies and procedures based on the current regulation. Fr non-U.S. regulation, collect from the businesses and maintain global resources in the E&C sharepoint site
Work with the businesses to ensure proper and consistent transparency compliance training and consistency of compliance related communications
Quickly identify changes needed in rder to comply with the rapidly changing transparency regulatory environment and work with the Marketing Compliance manager to obtain legal interpretation and implement program changes
Cllaborate with business and finance leads, IT, and other stakeholders in identification of reporting process gaps and requirements
Create dcumentation to support overall data review and transactional processes
Meet all US Federal and State Reporting Deadlines
Lead the Open Payments and U.S. state regulatory reporting using the MediSpend (MS) automation tool as the system administrator
Oversee overall relationship with MS vendor; monitor invoices and expenses relative to agreed services
Scope out all new projects or use of consulting hours. Oversee consulting work/hours where used
Oversee overall MS functionality and prioritize change requests
Responsible for running continuous Transparency related analytics
Create communications to highlight key compliance needs to key stakeholders
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
2+ year's experience with a role in accounting/finance or compliance function preferred but not required
Strong communication, written and verbal, with experience communicating with various levels preferred
