We are presently hiring Door Staff for our The Saloon. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible in the creation and maintenance of a pleasant and secure atmosphere for all persons on the premise.
Welcome, greet, and ID every guest upon arrival
Demonstrate high ethical standards at all times
Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Clear communication skills are key in this role, as well as ability to adapt/react quickly as needed
Understand and enforce all codes and regulations of Pennsylvania State Laws as well as house policies
Screen customers making sure individuals are not overly intoxicated
Collect cover that may apply
Ensure that situations are quickly identified and that the matter is dealt with quickly and as quietly as possible
If escorting a person off the premise, ensure as little force as possible is used
Ensure all incidents that may occur are fully documented in the incident report book, on the same night that the incident occurs
Thank all customers upon departure and provide stamp for re-entry
Assist bartenders in all bar backing duties in a timely manner
Sweep floors and bus tables never leaving one glass or pitcher behind
Help assist in all closing duties that apply to each individual establishment
Must be able to work unsupervised
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds
Must be 21 years of age
