The Director, Data & Analytics needs to be equal parts entrepreneur, explorer, detective and architect. The ideal person for this role is an expert in working in unstructured data, knows their way around brand reputation and can translate data-speak to the rest of us. The role will be responsible for building capability around social media listening, paid media and website performance as well as harnessing first party data to tell a more complete story around our communications efforts.
Core Responsibilities
* Establish a long-term strategy for measurement and analytics within the corporate communications team at Comcast that takes into account multiple data sources across communications and marketing efforts.
* Define and deliver new reporting standards and methods.
* Own analytics for corporate communications and the corporate brand inclusive of social listening, paid media (digital, social, SEM), website performance and traditional media coverage.
* Manage partners, agencies, and contractors to input data sources into consistent framework.
* Manage dashboards and develop materials that communicate status and evaluate effectiveness of announcements and campaigns across social media, earned media, paid media and owned channels.
* Track and analyze large amounts of data to discover meaningful trends and present to key stakeholders of the organization on a routine basis.
* Transform data into rich, meaningful, relevant insights that can be used to make strategic recommendations.
* Create compelling, persuasive presentation materials to communicate key learnings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
* Identify opportunities for data-driven decision making.
* Strong analytical and quantitative background with expertise in measurement planning and experiment design.
* Ensures adherence to standards and practices.
* Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Qualifications
* Bachelors degree or equivalent
* Generally requires 12 years of related experience
* 10+ years in digital analytics with experience in establishing reporting standards within a complex organization preferred
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
Experience working in:
* Social Listening: Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Netbase and others.
* Facebook/Twitter Ads Manager
* Google Analytics and Adobe/Omniture
* Data management and demand-side platforms (e.g. Neustar)
* Test Design: A/B, Multivariate
* Ad Servers: DoubleClick, Sizmek, Atlas, MOAT, DoubleVerify.
* Syndicated Measurement: comScore, Nielsen, Social platform lift studies
* Eager to roll up your sleeves and dig into any problem in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional leadership, writing, communications and presentation skills.
* Expert knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research and analytics with a finger on the pulse of innovation.
* Understand the fundamentals of attribution including MMM.
