Job Summary

Reports to Executive Vice President or designate. Responsible for defining and leading segment-level strategy and driving performance through robust business processes and analytics. Partnering with business leaders to support business segment strategy

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Identify key business drivers and install robust business process and cadence to improve visibility and performance (KPIs, monthly reporting, recurring market analytics) Install and lead business process.
  • Establish corporate project management office processes to drive towards annual goals and long-term strategy objectives (e.g. Project Management Office) Translate strategy into actionable initiatives and support functions in structuring and driving initiatives to completion
  • Develop segment-level strategy by leveraging market intelligence, internal data analytics and internal expertise to create differentiated value proposition
  • Identify new short, medium and long-term growth opportunities by bringing together T&I, Sales, Business Development and Marketing SMEs
  • Lead and train other team members (analysts, data scientists) on strategy development including competitive analysis, segmentation, positioning and go to market approach
  • Run the annual strategy planning process for all businesses within scope
  • Own and manage strategic projects and other critical projects for the enterprise
  • Identify gaps in performance and work with segment president to design and install countermeasures (including establishing and running A3 processes where needed)
  • Prepare C-suite level communications and broad employee communications including executive memos, performance reviews and materials for BOD meetings
  • Attend key meetings and events with EVP and provide ad hoc support to segment president of wide variety of topics
  • Additional ad hoc responsibilities as determined by EVP

    6 years of business experience and 4 years post business school.

  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES May oversee strategy analysts, data scientists and/or strategic marketing staff

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Minimum Bachelor s degree (B. A. / B. S.) in MBA Preferred International Business, Marketing, or Communication preferred plus 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience and Knowledge in doing business internationally with a good understanding of strategy development as well as overseeing of implementation plans a must. Must be Computer literate (WORD, EXCEL

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
